If you are in need of a website, please contact me and
I will gladly work with you in getting your own site up
and running. Of course, you will need to be prepared
to spend a little money up front to get the web design
you desire.

You will spend approximately $200-$300 on
purchasing a domain name and website hosting
service for one year. The longer period of time you
purchase, the more it costs. In addition, there will
startup fee. This fee depends on the complexity of the
website and will be discussed before actual work
begins. I can usually have your basic site up and
running for under $1,000. This is far less than what I
spent on my first website.

Domain Name - I will help you come up with a domain name
that you desire and is available. Normally I go through
godaddy.com or bluehost.com
Website Hosting - In order for your website to be seen by the
general public, it must be hosted at a website where it can be
presented to the internet world. I currently use bluehost.com as my
hosting site and have been very pleased with their services. I prefer
to use them but will use other hosting sites as long as they support
the cPanel and WordPress.
Layout Design - One of the biggest challenges in creating a
website is the design of the website itself. First we have to
determine how the website is going to be used. Is it going to be
used for blogging, promotional sales, etc? This is where you will
need to provide a general idea of what you would like. Websites
usually evolve over time so I prefer to start with a basic idea, get
that up and running and move forward as the ideas become more
concrete.
